In the heart of the forest, stood a tree so grand
With branches reaching out, like arms to the land
On one side, night reigned in darkness and cold
While on the other, day shone bright and bold
Its leaves whispered secrets of the stars and moon
As shadows danced in the light of noon
Beneath its sprawling canopy, creatures found peace
As it straddled the divide between night and day’s release
In the twilight hours, it stood tall and strong
A symbol of balance, righting all wrongs
For in its presence, the world seemed right
A tree with night and day, shining in its light
So let us learn from this tree so high
To embrace both darkness and the sky
For in unity, we find our grace
In the tree that stands in both time and space.
